Is Anytime Booking the right booking software for you?

Why should I use Anytime Booking?

Because we believe we provide the best software on the market for the holiday accommodation and staycation sector along with the fastest support response times in the industry. We have spent years learning about this market and we’ve created a system with an incredible amount of functionality to give you as much flexibility as possible.

Holiday parks, camping, glamping, cottage rentals and campervan hire are complicated in that they are about much more than just renting out space. Every business does things slightly differently. We have thought about that!

Your administration burden will be halved with the level of automation in the system, and we will hold your hand every step of the way. You will enjoy an increase in connectivity which will rake in bookings. We partner with various channel managers, online travel agents (OTAs) and global distribution networks relevant to you to put you in front of an international audience of millions.

How tech savvy do I have to be to use your system?

Most people find that learning to use our system is pretty simple, as it’s been designed to be intuitive, easy to use and customisable for your needs. If you can use the internet, you’ll be able to use our system. The system combines modern design with simplicity, and you can use it on any device you want.

How long will it take to get up and running?

As a rule of thumb, we find that businesses with 10 units (i.e. pitches, glamping pods, properties or campervans) or fewer can usually get up and running within a week or so, most campsites within a month and most larger holiday parks and holiday let agencies within 2 months.

However, to some extent the speed depends on how much data needs to be transferred to your system and how decisive you can be about your pricing and booking rules, especially if you’re transferring from a paper-based system!

 

Is the system responsive to all devices?

Yes, our booking and management software is designed to work on devices of any size, be they PCs or Macs, laptops, tablets or mobile phones, and the same is true for customers booking a holiday online, so you and your customers can use anything that connects to the internet.

Do you recommend any particular browsers to use with your system?

When using the booking management software it’s best to be running with up-to-date versions of Safari, Firefox or Chrome.

How many users can I have on my account?

As many as you want – it’s unlimited, and you can assign them each different levels of access.

Do you integrate with accounting software?

Not at the moment, but this is high on our bucket list of things to do!

Who is the software mainly aimed at?

The system is super-flexible so any holiday accommodation business can use our software, however a large number of our customers provide camping, glamping and holiday let accommodation along with holiday letting agents and campervan hire businesses. We also have an increasing number of customers with B&Bs, hostels, bunkhouses, activity centres and marinas who find our flexible system also meets their needs.

Can you set up my account for me?

Yes, we provide initial training and assistance with account setup and configuration, the details of which will be explained within the quote for your set-up fees.    Of course you’ll still need to understand how the system works for its ongoing use! So what we really recommend is, as far as possible, to set your account up yourself (it’s the best way to learn how to use the system) by working through our training videos and extensive Knowledge Base of articles. Additional assistance can be requested and is charged at our standard Project Management rates. Most people find that learning to use our system is pretty simple, as it’s been designed to be both intuitive and easy to use and customisable for your needs. If you can use the internet, you’ll be able to use our system. Once you are up and running you’re also eligible for unlimited email and phone support with staff dedicated to your account.

Will it run with my existing website?

Yes, the system will run alongside any kind of website, whether that involves HTML (layout), Javascript (functionality) or CSS (colours and fonts). We can provide you with the ability you take customer bookings directly via your own website and they will be immediately visible within Anytime’s booking software.

Can I commission specific development work if we need a feature your system presently doesn’t have?

Yes. Though we’re generally careful to prioritise development time for new features which will help the whole of our customer base, we can schedule in bespoke work for individual businesses at our hourly Professional Services rate for you, if needed.

Can I run multiple businesses from within one Anytime Booking account?

Yes. You can run multiple businesses from one account, which can also connect with multiple merchant accounts and providers.

Which sales channels do you connect to?

We have connections with camping and glamping-related online travel agents (OTAs) such as Campsites.co.uk, Pitchup.com, Lovecamping, Cool Camping and Canopy & Stars. We also partner with GDNs (global distribution networks) to put you in front of an international audience of millions via Booking.com, TripAdvisor, AirBnB, Expedia, Homeaway, Hostelworld and Last Minute Cottages to name a few.

What payment gateways or other payment systems do you connect with?

Sagepay, Worldpay, Paypal and Stripe are our most popular payment partners, but we do connect with more.

Security

What happens if my internet goes down?

Though Anytime Booking uses a cloud based internet system which means that normally you can access it from any internet connection, you can also access the system through public wifi or on your mobile or tablet via 3G, 4G or 5G.

How secure is your software?

We host the software with a trusted provider, and it is backed up hourly with the highest level of security to ensure your data is kept secure and safe.

Our fees

What do you charge to use the system?

We initially charge a set-up fee based on the size and complexity of your business. This typically includes: the styling of your customer-facing booking form and customer login area to match your website, a custom URL for your booking page, a basic search or availability calendar widget, training and help with the configuration of your account.

We then charge a monthly subscription (software license and support fee) to use the software based on the size of your business and the mix of your accommodation types. We like to talk to you personally about what you are looking for in a system and we are happy to provide you with a quote tailored exactly to your needs.

 

Do you have any extra, charged services I can tap into to run my business?

Yes, we do. We have a whole host of value-added services and integrations you can plug into, all completely optional. These range from tools that enhance the guest experience (such as Your Welcome, tablets for guest interaction) to website marketing tools (such as Ocean 3D for 3 dimensional floorplans, and Make a Map for interactive campsite maps), and data analysis services (such as Plum Data). What support do you offer?

Here at Anytime Booking, we are very proud of the support team, which has the fastest response and resolution times available in the industry. We offer unlimited support during the lifetime of your account either by email, phone or chatbot from within the Anytime Booking software.  

How reliable is your system?

We guarantee 99.8% uptime and have consistently achieved much better than this. If we do system maintenance we try to do it out of office hours.

What is your Service Level Agreement?

We pride ourselves on our high level of customer service and we feel this is a major differentiator from the vast majority of our competitors. Most of the time, you’ll get your resolution on the same working day, at the very outside, it will be within 3 working days if it is a non-urgent enquiry.  However our average response times are around 5 minutes with average resolution times in the region of 35 minutes!

Everyday use and customisation

Can I enter telephone bookings alongside online bookings?

Certainly. You can put those in as and when they come in. Alternatively, your customers can make their own bookings online via your website without you needing to type them in yourself.

 

Can you provide interactive pitch maps?

Yes – we work with select designers who can create an image of your property, park, or glamping site and we then digitise it to make it clickable, showing availability for each unit via the map itself. If you are interested in this service please ask and we can provide you with a quote.

What kind of calendars do you have?

We have two types of calendars; a single unit or multi-unit calendar, read more here. 

 

Can I place a Book Now button to my website?

Yes, we will provide you with a web address to place onto the button as a re-direction to your booking form.

 

Can I mass transfer my previous, current and future bookings from another system in one go?

Yes. If you have less than 100 bookings this is relatively simple to do yourself. If you have more than 100, we can do the work for you, though we’d need to give you a quote for the work.
