Finance Administrator

(PT 16-20 hours per week / office based and/or remote working)

Anytime Booking is a leading booking management system designed for the outdoor holiday industry (www.anytimebooking.co.uk). We work with over 400 holiday businesses around the UK, including campsites, holiday parks, short term holiday lets and motorhome hire companies. As such, we support nearly 30,000 bookable spaces, ranging from tent pitches and glamping pods to whole holiday properties and camper-vans. 

The Role:

We are seeking a part-time Finance Administrator to join a very busy SaaS (software as a service) environment. Your responsibilities will include maintaining records for all transactions, filing, preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports and readjusting customer licence fees where necessary. If you have a background in finance and knowledge of bookkeeping activities, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help us manage and allocate our resources effectively. As the business grows, there will be scope to take on more hours.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Create and update spreadsheets where necessary
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable
  • Review and process licence fee adjustments
  • Prepare cashflow projections and actuals budgets
  • Maintain profit & loss and balance sheet reports on financial metrics
  • Keep records of invoices and tax payments
  • Help manage company’s liabilities (e.g. insurance premium)
  • Identify and address account discrepancies
  • Participate in payroll and VAT processes
  • Fulfill Director administrative requests

The candidate will have:

  • Minimum AAT level 3 qualified 
  • Proven work experience as a Finance Administrator, Finance Assistant or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with Xero
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Google sheets (creating spreadsheets and charts and using financial Excel functions)
  • Good understanding of bookkeeping procedures
  • Time-management and organisation skills
