Paying customers expect to be able to book and pay for a holiday online, from anywhere and often on the move. They might be sitting in a pub, or round at a friend’s house, or just sitting on their sofa at home, browsing for a holiday on their smartphone and bingo, inspiration strikes. They want that holiday, and they want it now.
It is important that they can book and make a transaction without the need to pinch their screens, without falling off the edge altogether or losing their ‘Pay Now’ button. This will just end in frustration and a no-sale.

So, what’s new in version 3 for campsites and holiday parks? We’ve spent time working on all our customers’ feedback on how they use Anytime on a daily basis. We don’t want to completely overwhelm you with our ever-growing features list in one go, but knowing they are there for you to use will certainly help you with your ongoing business needs. These are some of the new features aimed at parks:-

We’ve created the facility to sell a ‘space’ based on the total occupancy and not in the traditional pitch sense. This is great for those who have an open field, or have just bought a field to start a new campsite. Simply set up a unit, define the total head-count possible for the field (known as party members in the back office) and the system allow you and your customers to keep booking until the field has reached the occupancy capacity.
Ps. this same feature works for bunkhouses and hostels!

A little extra function to help you speed up the process of collecting overdue balances. A balance reminder email (if you have this set up) will automatically send at the time you’ve set, but now you can send a pre-populated further email, at click a button, to to prompt your customers to either log in to your website or phone you make their final payment.

You can now set up events to sell tickets! There is no limit on the number of events or the number of tickets, and these can be free of fee paying.

We’ve made the whole process of making a group booking more detailed, but easier to manage. Now you can define the total number of individual bookings you’d like your online customer to make at any one time and you, using telephone booking, can make unlimited bookings and take a single payment. Great for rallies and large families.
To accommodate this, we’ve changed the booking process slightly. At the end of stage 4 of the booking process, the system will ask you if you would like to make another booking – this other booking could be for any other unit, event, ticket for another date, duration or other person(s). For example, if you have time-based features enabled you could sell a pitch or cottage and the section booking could be to hire the tennis courts for the afternoon.
The much awaited Anytime Booking Version 3 is here! We’ve spent many hours coding to create more funcationalities throughout the booking system, so we’re pleased to announce that you can now sell tickets and time based bookings. The time based module is perfect if you’re wanting to sell time slots for the swimming or tennis courts, or anything is possible!
